From I-81 North
or South
Get off on the Roanoke Exit to 581
South stay on 581 through downtown about 7 miles. You will
take the Colonial Ave Exit, which will be to your right. Come a
short distance to the stoplight and you will be at
Towers
Shopping Center
at the light take a right
on to
Colonial Ave.
Go to the next stoplight which
is Brandon Ave and take a right, go down the hill and you will come to
the next light take a left here on to Franklin Rd. On Franklin go to the
next stoplight which will be Reserve Ave turn Right here come down half
a block and you will see the Roanoke City Parks and Recreation Building
210 Reserve Ave. Roanoke ,VA 24016 and large parking lot. Park
in this lot or across the street and you should see people going into to the
side entrance of the building called the Roc Wood Wall. There will be
signs and banners to direct you.
On
220 From The South
After you pass Wal-Mart on your right and Lowe's on the left
get off at the Salem Franklin Rd. Exit to your right. You will then bear
to your right on to Franklin Rd. Stay on Franklin Rd. to the fourth
stoplight which is Reserve Ave. See instructions above.
We hope to have 300 to 500 runners in the Half. We
